Setup Permissions Policy

How to configure a permissions policy to provide browser feature access to your Tecton extensions.

By default, Tecton will allow <iframe> elements to utilize the camera and the geolocation Javascript APIs.

Browsers require capabilities to be explicitly granted to the <iframe>. If capabilities beyond camera and geolocation are needed, then they will need to be added to the Tecton config under allowDirectives.

The browser controls the list of possible directives. All available directives can be found under MDNs Permissions-Policy Directives.
